BlueNova focuses on creating new solutions in the lithium battery sector. Our production facility in Somerset West, near Cape Town helps us keep up with the rising demand for lithium-iron-yttrium-phosphate (LiFeYPO4) batteries.

Lithium-ion batteries are an excellent alternative to lead-acid batteries; they are more environmentally-friendly and have up to six times the storage capacity. Furthermore lithium batteries are safer than lead-acid batteries.

We support a growing, global industry in renewable and off-grid technology in Africa. Many African countries struggle with unstable and unsustainable grid supply and high electricity costs.
